Payment is secure and it goes directly to Bexhill Horse Show.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
ENTRY FEE £ 15.00 PER CLASS
Late entries will only be accepted if classes are not full and will be charged at £18 per class.
First Aid £1.50 per class.
Prize Information
Rosettes to 6th place in all classes with the exception of Class 3 (x poles) where competitors who achieve a double clear round will be presented with a special rosette.
A Sash will be presented to the winner of all classes
Prize money will be awarded in classes 3 - 8 (showjumping) according to entries and sponsorship.
Terms & Conditions
Some classes will have challenge trophies. These must be signed for before removal.
No claim can be entertained for anything which may happen to competitors, their servants, onlookers, property, or animals in connection with, or out of the event. It shall be a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from any accident or incident.
HEALTH AND SAFETY. The committee and event organizer of the show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present, for these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instruction of the committee, organisers and all advisors and stewards.
The committee and event organisers reserve the right to cancel, divide or amalgamate any classes, alter start times, limit entries, or refuse entry with or without stating a reason.
Show Jumping classes will be run under BS rules with the exception that competitors in classes 3-5 will be allowed 3 refusals before they are eliminated. In classes 6 and 7 only 2 refusals will be allowed before elimination.
Hats to the following current BHS standards must be worn and correctly fastened at all times when mounted. PAS 015:1998/2011. VGI with kite mark Snel E2001. ASTM F116320040. As/NZS3838 1998/2003/2006.
Correct footwear must be worn. Back protectors to be worn at competitors’ discretion.
Excessive use of whips and spurs will result in removal from the showground.
Spurs may not be worn by competitors under 16 years old.
No horse or pony under the age of 4 years old to be ridden anywhere on the showground.
No galloping on the showground unless requested by a judge.
In all classes the judge and stewards’ decisions are final. There will be zero tolerance of abusive or aggressive behavior.
Any objection must be raised within 15 minutes of the incident. It must be in writing to the secretary accompanied by a £20 deposit. This will be returned if the objection is upheld.
Entry forms must be correctly completed, signed and accompanied by the correct entry fee. Entries will not be accepted if this is not done. Entry fees will only be refunded on production of current Vet or Doctors certificate.
There will be a £5.00 administration charge for entry cancellations.
Horse and Public Liability Insurance to be held by each competitor.
Horse Boxes and Trailers are to be fitted with a fire extinguisher.
Horses and ponies must not be left tied to a horsebox or trailer unattended.
Please do not muck your vehicles out onto the showground.
Please ensure that you clear up droppings/hay from the showground and take any litter home with you.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a short, non extendable lead and kept under control at all times.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and behave appropriately.
In all equine classes the Judge’s decision is final, should a dispute take place, the final decision will be down to the event organiser and Chairman Andy Lawes.
